Student Data & Privacy Policy
How EduFunds handles challan photos, student phone numbers, and contributor records.
Strict Rule: We Never Collect CNIC (National Identity Cards)
Students must NOT upload copies of their CNIC or B-Form. If a CNIC photograph is inadvertently uploaded, our review lead immediately deletes the file and requests a clean photograph of the fee challan only.
1. What We Collect
- College Fee Challan: Showing student name, roll number, semester, and fee breakdown.
- WhatsApp Contact Number: Used solely to notify the applicant of approval and challan clearance.
- Brief Explanation of Delay: To prioritize deadlines approaching late fee cutoffs.
2. Who Sees Applicant Records
Only two named students have access to raw application files: Zainab Bibi (Applications Lead) and Ayesha Noor (Vice President). Donors, other students, and campus collectors have zero access to application files or student personal details.
3. Public Ledger Anonymity
On our public transparency ledger, fee disbursements are listed by department and challan number only (e.g., “Fee paid · BS Computer Science · Challan #44892”). Individual applicant names are never published.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Digital challan photographs are securely purged at the end of each academic semester once the college accounts counter verifies the student’s enrollment status. Only the stamped bank deposit receipt is archived for financial audit compliance.
